On March 11, 2015, the Festival of Arts was launched at the Innovative Eurasian University. The festival program began with the grand opening of the fair and art exhibition in the spacious hall of the university’s scientific library. The opening of the festival was attended by teachers of special disciplines of InEU College – G.A. Karptsova, O.P. Velichko, G.K. Tabasheva with students of groups D-124, D-213, D-114, D-312.
On March 12, the head of the studio school, Tatiana Chevtaeva, held a master class on batik. The artist showed the technique of performing batik in a new version: how you can apply batik to fabric without a contour. During the meeting, the craftswoman spoke about the beginning of her creative activity. For several years, the school-studio of classical drawing created by her in 2008 has been working. In the beginning, the school was aimed at children of preschool and primary school age. But gradually the audience expanded, and now the studio is attended by high school students, students and older artists.
The day ended with another master class – decorative technologies. University teacher E.I. Yuminova showed the children how to make a gift or souvenir in a short time. Students were convinced by their own example that decorative technologies open up wide opportunities for creativity.
Both faculty and college students were satisfied. They will look forward to new meetings and discoveries at the 2016 Arts Festival.
