The next meeting of the Law Club on the theme: “The UN convention on the rights of child” was held in the Higher College of InEU on 10.05.2023. The purpose is to generalize knowledges of students about the basic rights of child, to encourage the children to protect their rights, educate respectful to other people’s rights, to contribute to the formation of active life position. During the discussion and watching the video, students explored that the rights of children all over the world are recorded in a special document, “Convention on the rights of the child”. This document was accepted on November 20, 1989, by United Nations. This authoritative organisation emerged after the Second World War, which robbed of millions of people of their main rights – the right to life. In order to prevent a third world war, the peoples of the whole word united in the UN. Kazakhstan became a full member of the UN on March 2, 1992. Currently, the United Nations includes 193 states. The Convention consists itself of a preamble, 2 parts, 54 articles.
