SUMMARIZING THE WORK OF THE “YOUNG SEARCH SCHOOL”

On December 16, 2020, it was on this significant day that the School of the Young Search Engineer decided to take stock of the work. Six months ago, the Pavlodar search research group “Maidan Zholy” took part in a competition for volunteer projects in Pavlodar region and won a grant in the direction of “Asyl Mura” from the Public Fund “Birge”. Students of the Higher College of InEU expressed their desire to study at this “School”. Volunteers studied anthropology, the technology of conducting search, exhumation and archival work, the history of the Great Patriotic War.

  The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by the director of the Higher College of InEU, Tazhenov Shalkarbay Amirzhanovich, reminding the children that history must not be forgotten, it does not forgive mistakes!

 Heads of veteran and non-governmental organizations were invited to the event as guests. During the meeting, a photo presentation and a video about the work done within the project were demonstrated. The coordinators of the “Search Engine School” N. T. Magzumov and S. G. Fedorenko spoke.

 In conclusion of his speech, the commander of the “Maidan Zholy” detachment A.V. Shitov awarded certificates to the participants of the “School of Search”, the teachers of the project. Alexander Vladimirovich, expressing his heartfelt gratitude, presented certificates of honor to the management of the Higher College of InEU, to the invited guests for their disinterested and conscientious work to preserve and perpetuate the memory of those who brought closer the Great Victory over fascism.

 The leadership of the Higher College of InEU expressed gratitude to the members of the Search Unit “Maidan Zholy” for their selfless work in the search for unknown soldiers. The work of search engines serves as a vivid example for the younger generation in the formation of patriotism. The outcome of the conference was summed up by the moderator-deputy director for educational work Zh.K. Apaeva, who handed over to the commander of “Maidan Zholy” Shitov A.V. on behalf of the author L.S. Akhmetova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, Professor of the UNESCO Chair, the book “Pafilovites: Our Pride, Our Glory!”
