On October 14, 2020, a round table on the topic “Administrative and criminal liability of minors” was held at the Higher College of the Innovative University of Eurasia. The purpose of the round table is the prevention of delinquency among minors, the education of the legal consciousness of students; formation of skills of critical analysis in difficult life situations.
The participants of the round table were students of the 1st and 2nd year of college and their parents. Employees of law enforcement, judicial authorities, the bar association of Pavlodar region took an active part in the work: Temirova K.A. – Chairperson of the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Minors of Pavlodar Region, Sultanov K.T. – Judge of the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Consideration of Criminal Cases in Particularly Serious Criminal offenses of the Pavlodar region, Zhangazina G. Sh. – judge of the Pavlodar district court, Shomshekova T.N. – lawyer of the Pavlodar collegium of lawyers, Prokhorova R.O. – senior police lieutenant of the juvenile police group, juvenile inspector of the Central police department precinct, Ramazanov E. E. – Senior Police Lieutenant of the Juvenile Police Group, Inspector for Juvenile Affairs of the Central Police Department, Precinct Point.
The relevance of the topic chosen for discussion at the round table, according to the participants, is due, first of all, to the high level of juvenile delinquency.
The preventive conversation covered the issues of administrative and criminal responsibility of minors for committing crimes and offenses. Police officers told how to behave in a difficult life situation, where to go for help and answered students’ questions.
