The International Forum of search teams of the CIS countries took place in Pavlodar, organized by the Higher College of the Innovative Eurasian University, the Pavlodar search team “Maidan Zholy”, and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kazakhstan. The forum is dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Maidan Zholy search team.
The purpose of the event was to integrate search and patriotic organizations of the post-Soviet space and strengthen their cooperation to implement joint projects. The forum brought together more than 50 volunteers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Moldova. During the discussions, participants emphasized the importance of military-patriotic education of youth,
support for youth initiatives and their participation in joint projects, as well as the need to preserve historical memory.
Welcoming speeches were given by:
• Armangul Umarovna Tashekenova – Director of the Higher College of the Innovative Eurasian University,
which emphasized the importance of instilling patriotism among young people and supporting search initiatives.
• Dyachenko Alexander Andreevich – Vice-Consul, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Ust-Kamenogorsk), who noted the importance of joint efforts in preserving historical memory.
• Alexander Vladimirovich Shitov – commander of the Pavlodar search research team “Maidan Zholy”, who emphasized that the 15-year work of the team proves the immortality of the memory of the heroes.
• Bekmagombetov Zhanat Islyambekovich – Deputy Head of the Office of the Head of the Omsk District,
who noted the importance of patriotic education among young people and the importance of the work of search teams.
• Orekhov Ivan Vasilievich – General Producer of the film company “ISS ART Media”, who spoke about the importance of art in preserving historical memory.
• Maxim Dmitrievich Goryainov – director of the film “Watches for Vera” (film company “ISS ART Media”), who presented his project and its contribution to patriotic education.
One of the important stages of the forum program was the ceremony of laying flowers at the Memorial to those killed in the Great Patriotic War.
