The 23th Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association World Championship was held on November, 23-26. More than thousand sportsmen from USA, Portugal, Italy, India, Kazakhstan and many others participate there. The national team of Kazakhstan, which included students from Pavlodar, won 77 medals in 5 types of competitions.
A student of the humanities department of our college, Sarmantayeva Ayaulym (FS-123 group), brought 5 medals in 5 types:
