Open lesson on the history of the state and law of the Republic of Kazakhstan

As part of the week of the TsMK “Legal Disciplines,” Kashkenova Aigul Mirashovna, a teacher of special legal disciplines, held an open lesson in the P-214 group on the topic: “The electoral system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Election Law “(subject:” History of the State and Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “).

The lesson was attended by the head of the Department of IT, Bozhkova S.A., the instructors of legal disciplines Abdulina A.A., Cherkashina N.F., Zhanыgulova D.M., and the instructor of social disciplines – Alkenov S.S.

The goal of the lesson was to clarify the specifics of the electoral system of Kazakhstan and the procedures for conducting elections through practical tasks. To achieve the lesson’s objectives and goals, various methods and techniques were employed: problem-solving, group work, individual work, working with the Constitution of Kazakhstan and the “On Elections” law of Kazakhstan. As a reinforcement of the material, a business game called “Presidential Elections” was conducted.

During this game, a pre-election campaign was conducted for three presidential candidates (students from the group: Zarina Asainova, Yuliya Nezheria, and Adilzhan Kaliev). They prepared speeches, pamphlets for voters, and presentations. Zarina prepared a program in the state language. Subsequently, after listening to the candidates, the students went to the polling station, received ballots in the voting booth, made their choices, and placed their ballots in the ballot box. The entire process of the business game was covered by student Tleubekov Madiyar, acting as a correspondent for the “Kazakhstan-Pavlodar” TV channel.

The students, actively participating in the activity, demonstrated interest and creative abilities, as well as a good level of knowledge on the topic. Those present in the lesson did not stay aside either: they were also involved as observers from foreign countries and later voted for their preferred candidate.

Members of the electoral commission, Arina Musina and Aynagul Karmanova, prepared voter lists, distributed ballots, and counted the election results. Yuliya Nezheria emerged as the winner, and then the inauguration of the elected president took place, accompanied by a screening of a video excerpt titled “Inauguration of the President of Kazakhstan – Nursultan Nazarbayev.”

The lesson concluded by revisiting the problem-solving situation introduced at the beginning of the lesson, and a reflection was carried out by placing tokens on a table, thereby indicating the level of understanding of the topic.
