The Higher College of InEU hosted a meeting with the National Center for the Development of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The topic of the meeting is the peculiarities of the implementation of applied undergraduate programs in college.
Since 2018, our college has been receiving admission to post-secondary education, in the experimental mode, educational programs of applied bachelor’s degree have been introduced in the specialties 0902000 – “Power supply (by industry),” qualification 0902044 – Applied bachelor of power supply; 06130100 – “Software (by type),” 5AV06130101 “Applied Bachelor of Software.”
The discussion was attended by employers, graduates, college teachers.
During the meeting, issues on the organization of admission, training, employment of graduates of applied bachelor’s degree were discussed, as well as the tasks of further development of this level of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan were announced.
