The corporate foundation “Elbasy Academy” held the National Olympiad among high school students and college students on the modern history of Kazakhstan “Era of Independence”.
The “Era of Independence” Olympiad is an educational project in which everyone can try to build a prosperous and safe Kazakhstan by making the most important decisions, try on the role of leader and feel like a real country’s leader! The Olympiad allows them to replenish knowledge about the recent history of our country’s independence in a unique game form, go through the main stages of building a sovereign state, and see the essence of the “Kazakhstan model” of development.
The Olympiad consisted of two rounds:
I round: the qualifying stage was held from November 7 to 14 in online format on the website of the electronic version of the Game. 20 participants with the highest results were admitted to the II round. Among 1429 participants, Amir Kadymbaev, a student of the TORO PZ-211 group, was among the 20 finalists, gaining 1274 points (supervisor Aitpaeva A.Zh.)
II round: the final took place on December 1 in offline format in the city of Astana at the Palace of Schoolchildren by Al-Farabi. In the final round Amir didn’t become a winner, but he entered the top 20 best players in the Olympiad. Congratulations to Amir on his participation in the final round of the Olympiad!
