Raising Patriots

Within the framework of the decade of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 77th anniversary of Victory Day, military-applied sports competitions among national teams of college departments were held in HC InEU.

The purpose of the competition is to foster a sense of patriotism, camaraderie, responsibility, attract students to a healthy lifestyle, classes in military-applied sports.

The competition program includes a review of the construction and songs, disassembly and assembly of the AKM, shooting from an air rifle, providing first aid, power eventing.

The competition began with the welcoming words of the director of the college Tazhenov S.A. He emphasized the importance of holding various kinds of patriotic events that bring pride for their homeland, for its people’s heroes, give knowledge and respect for the past of the country.

Teams of departments marched solemn to the venue of the competition, where they competed according to the established program. According to the results of all competitions, the 1st place was taken by the team of the humanitarian branch, the 2nd place – by the team of the energy branch, the 3rd place – by the team of the economic branch. The teams were awarded diplomas and prizes.

A feature of the current military sports festival was the holding of the march of the “Immortal Regiment,” in which not only students, but also teachers and college staff took part. The organizers of the event are well aware of how important the formation of patriotic views of young people is through a value attitude to the history of their family in the history of Kazakhstan and the preservation in each family of the memory of the participants in the Great Patriotic War: soldiers and partisans, participants in the labor front. Now such a procession will become one of the bright and significant traditions of our HCInEU.

Words of gratitude sounded to teachers of initial military training Magzumov N.T., Dzhanakhmetov M.I., teachers of physical education for successful holding of competitions, curators of groups for preparation and equipment of teams.

The winners of the past competition “World Skills Pavlodar-2022,” students of HCInEU, were also awarded at the award ceremony. These are representatives of the Polytechnic Department: Prokopets Timur (3rd place), Azambaev Alen (2nd place), Egof Alexey (2nd place), Kostin Alexander (2nd place); representatives of the ICU branch: Fedorov Nikita (3rd place), Aitkulov Yaroslav (1st place), Riza Raiymbek (2nd place).

Holding military sports holidays and competitions will become a launch pad not only for preparing young men for military service, but also for career guidance for admission to law enforcement agencies, as well as to higher special educational institutions in the relevant specialties.
