During the meeting, he spoke about the most common ways to commit Internet crimes & nbsp; (in 2021 – Ed.) “The most common case is receiving a prepayment for an item or service on ads. They account for almost half of all crimes via the Internet – 8 & nbsp; 200 such crimes were committed, “Yerkanat Yerlanovich said.
He also spoke about the most common crimes in 2021.
“Since the beginning of 2021, about 3 thousand crimes have been committed related to the registration of online loans through the websites of microcredit organizations. Crimes of embezzlement of funds from bank accounts after obtaining personal data of Kazakhstanis were also popular. Their number (last year – Ed.) Reached 2.3 thousand. In most cases, fraudsters introduced themselves as bank employees and called from replacement numbers. In many cases, victims voluntarily entered their data on phishing Internet resources. Almost 2 thousand frauds were committed under the pretext of a profitable investment of money in various projects, games, investments, bets, etc., “said Yerkanat Erlanovich.
