«YOUR NAME IS UNKNOWN, YOUR FEAT IS IMMORTAL!»

On December 3, 1966, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the defeat of German troops near Moscow, the ashes of an unknown soldier from a mass grave near the village of Kryukovo were solemnly buried near the wall of the Moscow Kremlin. Now it is a memorial with the eternal flame of Glory. Today it is very important that there are fewer unknown soldiers. Fighters of search groups are engaged in perpetuating their memory, restoring the names of the dead. On December 3, 2020, members of the VKINEU volunteer squad, head Smaul A.T, members of the Maidan Zholy squad, head of the college’s search movement school N.T. Magzumov held an action in memory at the monument to the soldier-fellow countryman on the territory of the Museum of Military Glory.
Participants cleared the snow, lit memory candles. Perhaps it is significant that the memory of those days is kept by modern youth in the name of the immortality of the feat of their grandfathers and fathers. Eternal memory to the fallen heroes, eternal glory to the living.
