On November 12, 2020, in the ZOOM platform, students of the Higher College of InEU participated in an online seminar: “HIV infection and prevention measures within the framework of the World AIDS Campaign”. The conference was attended by 1st and 2nd year students.
They received information about the ways of transmission of HIV infection, the epidemiological situation in the Pavlodar region. We learned from a specialist that as of November 1, 2020, Pavlodar region is the leader in terms of morbidity among all regions of Kazakhstan.
The age composition is not limited. This disease can affect both adults and children. The most vulnerable stratum of the population are adolescents, i.e. people from 15 to 18 years old, which is 5.6% of all cases.
HIV infection does not choose age, therefore it is necessary to strictly observe preventive measures and protect yourself and your loved ones from HIV disease.
