On February 26, 2015, the Pavlodar Medical College hosted the regional tournament among colleges “Zhas Batyr” in youth all-around, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. The tournament was held with the aim of developing and popularizing sports among college students, promoting good physical health for young men, the event was held under the leadership of the Regional Educational and Practical Center for Physical Culture. The tournament was attended by national teams of colleges of Pavlodar region: medical, chemical-mechanical, college of InEU, pedagogical named after B. Akhmetov.
The College of Medicine fielded 2 teams. The composition of the teams is 10 young men. The tournament included relay races, martial arts, Kazakh national games. The winners were determined by the sum of points in the all-around. InEU College was represented by students of the humanitarian department of the specialty “Physical Culture and Sports” and freshmen of the energy department of the specialty “Thermal Power Plants of Thermal Power Plants.” During the tournament, the guys needed to show developed physical qualities: speed, agility, strength and endurance. The all-around was not easy, but the athletes, thanks to the support of their teachers Samodelkina Tatyana Nikitichna, Slasten Tatyana Gennadievna and Tarzhakaeva Alma Maratovna, snatched the victory from Pavlodar Pedagogical College named after B. Akhmetov, our rival in regional competitions. As a result, 3rd place!
