On January 30, 2015, the VII Regional Energy Olympiad among students of technical and vocational institutions took place. The event was held at the Polytechnic College in Pavlodar city. Students from 9 colleges of the region participated in the Olympiad: Aksu College named after Zhayau Musa, Pavlodar Machine-building College, InEU College, Business College of Pavlodar city, Ekibastuz College of Engineering and Technology named after Academician Satpayev, Ekibastuz InEU College, Ekibastuz Polytechnic College, as well as Technological and Polytechnic Colleges of Pavlodar city.
Participants and guests of the Olympiad were greeted by the education management methodologist of Pavlodar region, Zhumadilova G.A., and the director of the Polytechnic College, Yakutov V.L. The chairman of the jury, Poleschuk E.I., addressed the participants of the Olympiad with warm words and acquainted them with the rules of the Olympiad.
The jury consisted of subject teachers from various colleges of the region and the education management methodologist of Pavlodar region, Zhumadilova G.A. The jury was headed by the chairman of the methodological association of teachers of special technical disciplines of Pavlodar region, Poleschuk E.I. The Olympiad was held in two directions: electrical engineering and heat engineering specialties.
Students Borovik K. and Sobol A., group TEU-312, Martynov V., group TEU-412, Sidorenko A., group ES-412, Zhorataev Arman and Kalibekov Chokan, group ES-313, represented InEU College. Kirill Borovik confidently won the first place in the heat engineering section and received a tablet as a gift. It is worth noting the good organization of the Olympiad and expressing gratitude to the director of the Polytechnic College, Yakutov V.L.
In the final part of the event, students of the Polytechnic College prepared a small concert. All participants were awarded certificates, and their mentors received letters of appreciation.
